Matt Hermon

Matt Hermon grew up in rural Ohio, near Findlay, surrounded by row and forage crops. As a child, he spent many summers on the farm baling hay and straw, experiencing firsthand the demands of agricultural life. After high school, Matt joined the Air Force, which eventually brought him to California. It was in California that he met his wife, and they settled near Napa, where they were surrounded by walnut orchards, vineyards, olive trees, hops, and pasture fields.

Following his military career, Matt transitioned into the pharmaceutical industry, where he spent time auditing various laboratories and procedures. His work eventually led him to audit agricultural labs, sparking a growing interest in agricultural consulting. Now, as he moves into the agricultural industry, Matt specializes in orchards, vineyards, specialty crops, and row crops. His goal is to help local growers improve productivity and sustainability, while also cutting back on travel to focus more on his family and community life.
