Frequently Asked Questions

Q: I can't see the zone boundaries in the sunlight. How do I change the settings to be able to see the borders and polygons better?

Answer: Go into the Options menu and then Settings, this will allow you to charge the boundary size, color of the zone, and the label colors.


Q: I have a new soil sampler. Can they have their own login, or will they have to use mine?

Answer: Currently, the new soil sampler will have to use the consultant's credentials.


Q: I have a new field that needs sampled, how do I get to the turn-by-turn navigation?

Answer: The user can zoom into a field or zone, tap on the field or zone, and it will turn red. At the bottom of the map, a white box will appear that says, "Navigate to:". Tap "Navigate to:" and the user will be taken to mobile device's navigation system (Apple/Google Maps). The user can then use the mobile device's navigation tool as normal.


Q: I only want to see one field; how do I filter to just the field I need?

Answer: By using the filtering tool at the top right of the map, the user will be able to filter by grower, farm, field, and zone.


Q: I don't like how the map in the mobile app changes orientation when I turn. How do I lock it so the top of the map is always facing North?

Answer: In the top right corner of the map, there is a black compass. By tapping the compass, the map will lock to always be oriented to the North. To have the map change orientation as the user turns, tap the blue target button in the bottom right corner.


Q: I am sampling in a field, is there a way to know what other neighboring fields need to be sampled?

Answer: By adjusting the filters on the mobile app, you will be able to see what fields are nearby.


Q: How do I get my data into the AIPro mobile app?

Answer: All data will need to be uploaded to AIPro, the web-enabled application. Once the data is loaded to the web version of AIPro, the AIPro mobile app will automatically sync, as long as there is an internet connection. However, if your data isn't in sync, go to the options menu in the top right and there is a manual resync button.


Q: Can I use the AIPro mobile app in remote areas where I do not have cell service?

Answer: Yes. The AIPro mobile app was designed to be able to work in remote areas. The data just needs to be loaded while an internet connection is still available.


Q: What are the blue and red circles with numbers?

Answer: The blue circles with numbers are numbers of fields. As the user zooms in, the blue circles will turn red and the number in the red circle is the number of zones in a single field.
