John Koenig

I am from Michigan where I work at MAX Agronomy for John Mackson. I have been a part of the Amplify Network for one year now. I find my strengths to be corn, wheat, soybeans, dry beans, sugar beets, small grains, turf, plant pathology, and research.

I am a very enthusiastic and driven individual bringing over 14 years of agronomic experience to MAX Agronomy. I earned both a BS degree in Agronomy and MS in Plant Pathology from The Ohio State University and a CCA from the American Society of Agronomy. My agronomic experience stated young working alongside my father and grandfather on our family farm in Northwest Ohio. Professionally I have experience in agriculture education/FFA advisory, soil sampling, data interpretation, turfgrass management, plant pest diagnostics and management, fertilizer recommendations, and consumer product development including fertilizer, herbicide, fungicide, insecticide, wetting agents and combination products. Other research projects included water quality assurance, carbon sequestration, and outdoor cleaners. I am inspired to become an innovative leader in the agriculture industry, promoting the safe and proper usage of fertilizers and pesticides in efforts to maintain a sustainable ecosystem while increasing farm profitability. I look forward to providing agronomic consulting services and on the farm research in Michigan.
