John Koenig

John Koenig is from Michigan where he is a partner with John Mackson at MAX Agronomy. John Koenig has been a member of the Amplify Network for 5 years, and has nearly 20 years of agronomic experience.  

Koenig's strengths are in corn, wheat, soybeans, dry beans, sugar beets, and small grain production. As well as in turf management, plant pathology, and on-farm research. 

John Koenig has earned a Bachelor of Science in Agronomy and a Master of Science in Plant Pathology from The Ohio State University. Koenig is also holds a Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) accreditation from the American Society of Agronomy. 

Growing up, John gained a wealth of agronomic experience working alongside his grandfather and father on the family farm in Northwest, Ohio. 

Professionally, he has experience in agriculture education/FFA advisory, soil sampling, data interpretation, turfgrass management, plant pest diagnostics and management, fertilizer recommendations, and consumer product development including fertilizer, herbicide, fungicide, insecticide, wetting agents and combination products. 

Other research projects included water quality assurance, carbon sequestration, and outdoor cleaners. John Koenig is an innovative leader with the Amplify Network and in the agriculture industry as a whole, promoting the safe and proper usage of fertilizers and pesticides in efforts to maintain a sustainable ecosystem while increasing farm profitability.
