I ran a retail fertilizer dealership for 15 years before starting independent consulting in 1992. I have helped start several other Brookside consultants either in Nester Ag or on their own. I spent several years on the Brookside Board of Directors and was elected into the Hall of Fame a couple years back. A cousin, Clint Nester, is my business partner within Nester Ag.

My wife, Beckie, and I have been married for 29 years and we have two sons, Brad and Brett. Brad works with us in Nester Ag. I enjoy fishing, hunting, and trapshooting. Beckie and I have a home in northern Michigan that we love to visit in the winter and summer months as well. Beckie and I are looking forward to more traveling in the near future. I also have had a real estate sales license for 42 years and have been a director with The Hicksville Bank for 18 years now.
