Don's strengths are in soil fertility and weed and pest management recommendations. Don started BCS, LLC in 1998 as an independent crop consulting business serving over 35,000 acres out of the basement of his home after spending some time in the retail fertilizer industry. To provide better service and the best products to his customers at a fair price, and without outside influences, Don has successfully grown BCS, LLC into a full-service ag retail company serving over 140,000 acres with four locations in Arrowsmith, IL, Chenoa, IL, Gibson City, IL, and McLean, IL with a total of 30 full-time employees to meet those customers' needs.

Don graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture in 1994. Don's son, Kolton, who is a full-time Customer Service Rep, for BCS, LLC, and daughter, Kourtney, who handles administrative duties for BCS, LLC both are full-time employees of BCS, LLC.
