Arlin received his Bachelor of Science in Farm Operations from Iowa State University. In 1985, he started an IT company that grew to $17 million in revenue and 102 employees across five states before being sold in 2012. He also founded a precision ag company in 1995 that continues to operate today, focusing on GPS-based hardware, grain management systems, and drone technology. Additionally, Arlin established a peer group community (HTS) which expanded to over 400 member IT companies before it was sold in 2018.

Married to his wife, Nancy, since 1977, Arlin has two children, Pete (married to Megan) and Laurie, and four beautiful grandchildren. The couple enjoys traveling and spending time together.

Arlin is enthusiastic about being part of the Amplify community and looks forward to helping people succeed. He is passionate about the planning framework developed through peer groups, which addresses legacy, life, leadership, and business planning. Arlin firmly believes that peer groups can profoundly impact both personal and professional lives, as they have done for him and many others he has supported.
