I received my bachelors of science in Farm Operations from Iowa State University, then started and IT Company in 1985 that grew to $17 million an 102 employees across 5 states before they sold it in 2012.

I also started a precision ag company in 1995 which is still currently operating today from the farm. They focus on GPS based hardware, grain management systems, and drone technology. I also had the pleasure of starting a peer group community (HTS) which grew to over 400 member IT companies when we sold it back in 2018.

I have been married to my wife, Nancy, since 1977 and have two children together, Pete (wife Megan) and Laurie. We have four beautiful grandchildren and enjoy traveling and spending time together.

I am excited to be part of the Amplify community and look forward to helping people succeed. One of the best things we created through our peer groups is a planning framework that addresses legacy, life, leadership, and business planning. Peer Groups are a passion and will literally change your life and business if you get involved and dive in completely. They have certainly done that for me, and many we have served.
