Kevin is from Maria Stein, Ohio, where he owns Otte Ag, LLC. He has been an Amplify consultant for 21 years, with strengths in nutrient and manure management, crop production, regulatory compliance offerings, and livestock operations.

Kevin grew up on a dairy and swine farm in west-central Ohio, situated along the Mercer/Darke County Line. The farm remains in operation, having expanded to 200 cows, 150 sows farrow-to-finish, and close to 900 acres of cropland. Like many farm kids, Kevin worked year-round on the farm before attending college. During the summers, he worked for Menke Consulting, learning from esteemed consultants like Tom Menke, Jeff Wuebker, and Mike Evers. These mentors equipped him with the tools and knowledge to become a great consultant. Kevin worked for Menke Consulting until March 2015, when he signed an agreement with Tom Menke to transition all Menke agronomy clients to his new business, completing the transition in March 2019. Currently, his brother Marc is his only full-time employee.

Kevin is the oldest of seven children, with four brothers and two sisters. He graduated from Marion Local High School in 1996 and Wilmington College (Ohio) in 2000 with a degree in Agriculture. During his time at Wilmington, he played football and received several accolades for his successes on and off the field, including being in the top 10 for the Gagliardi Award, the Div. III equivalent to the Div. I Heisman Award.

Kevin has been married to Angie (West) since July 2002, whom he met in college in a classic jock-meets-cheerleader scenario. Angie, an Ag major, is currently the Director of Retail Operations for Farm Credit Mid-America, where she has worked for over 17 years. They have five children: Peyton (18), Kyle (16), Brody (13), Alyse (10), and Emery (6). The family stays busy with various activities throughout the year. Kevin also coaches football at his high school alma mater, a role he has held since 2001. Over the last two decades, the team has won 11 state titles and 3 state runner-ups, with three of his brothers contributing to the success. His oldest son, Peyton, was a major contributor to the 2019 title team as a sophomore. The family loves sports and the fair, considering the latter a vacation. The kids bring pigs and cattle to the fair, keeping them busy all spring and summer long.

Kevin has a camel personality and loves organization, which is reflected in both his personal and professional life.
