Brad grew up in a small fishing village called Bermagui on the south-eastern coast of Australia, where he began his turf management career. After completing his apprenticeship in Bermagui and turf management studies at CIT, he moved overseas and has been fortunate to work on golf courses in various countries and climates, including the United States, Malaysia, Brunei (as Superintendent), and Thailand (as Director of Golf Course Management).

Brad has always been interested in turfgrass nutrient requirements and turf surface performance, which led him to start his consulting business, BRT Agronomy, and join the Amplify Network at Brookside Labs. Since then, he has been assisting clients in the Asia Pacific region to improve turf health, performance, and consistency while reducing inputs and costs.

Currently, Brad lives in a small coastal town in SW Thailand with his wife of four years and their baby boy, born in March 2021. The Hua Hin area is known for growing pineapple and palm sugar and is a hotspot for kite surfing, which he hopes to learn in the near future.

Brad's family still resides in his hometown in Australia, and he regularly flies back once or twice a year (before COVID) to spend time with them, often enjoying BBQs, fishing, and exploring the beautiful outdoors that Australia has to offer. For more information, please Click here.
