The Environmental Department recently acquired an ISO 17025: 2005 Accreditation from the A2LA accrediting body. This accreditation defines technical competence in the scope of Pesticide Residue Analysis on Food Products and Feed. We are accredited to analyze an expansive list of pesticide compounds on food products including fruits, vegetables, dairy, eggs, grains, fish, and animal feed. If a potential client needs testing performed for the National Organic Program (NOP), this program requires testing by an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory. To achieve the accreditation, we implemented a comprehensive laboratory quality management system. We also successfully completed extensive proficiency testing to become accredited. We analyze proficiency test samples for FAPAS twice annually.
